Flowers, flowers, and more flowers. The bride’s parents wanted to ensure an intimate day where flowers were the knockout. It was a sea of roses with a beautiful blend of Vendella Cream, White Tibet, and Blush Mother of Pearl roses, making for a warm and elegant feel to this wedding. They were the perfect accents below a breathtaking stained glass window and the meticulous architectural structure of the Emmanuel Church.
Together Gregory, from Flou(-e)r Specialty Floral Events, and the bride’s parent’s created and fulfilled K’s intimate vision for her day. Gregory utilized an array of flowers to give depth and texture by including multiple blooms within a classic color palette. Flowers with blush-toned roses were an accent color to give contrast within the extensive assortment of white and cream-colored roses. To remain consistent with the subtle hints of olive green in the Church alter arrangements, Gregory incorporated the same greens into the groom’s boutonniere.
K & M did not skip a beat when it came to the details of planning their wedding, but did so while making it look effortless. How, you may ask? They hired Liz Quill of Elegant Aura. Liz shared, “The couple wanted an intimate affair with their closest family members. They wanted to be sure it was a stress-free day, and that everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed themselves. The father-of-the-bride told [Liz], “Think of it as a fancy dinner with a wedding ceremony included.” Although it was an intimate wedding without a lot of pop and circumstance, they didn’t sacrifice style or design and opted to upgrade china, glassware, chairs and linens for the dinner reception.” Add to that romantic candlelight and even, wax seals on the guest gift boxes. It all made for one special night.
Of course K&M couldn’t forget about their baby….their dog Ranger! Their Labrador retriever almost stole the show with his cute bow tie and even more adorable disposition.
The locations for the day were also super important; the venues for each part of the day helped the story of the day flow as they progressed from one spot to another. They got ready at the XV Beacon Hotel, were wed in Emmanuel Church, took photos on the Boston Common, and had their cocktail hour on the patio at Ruth’s Chris Steak House. All this culminated with their dinner reception in Mooo Restaurant’s wine cellar. It was the perfect backdrop for K & M’s celebration, as it was the epitome of the warm feeling they wanted to create. Guests were met with even more flowers and candles, adding to the cozy dinner setting. This was without a doubt, a fairy tale wedding.
Thank you to all the professionals for making K & M’s wedding so special!
