J+K were so very ecstatic to get married! It rained nearly all day but they didn’t let it bother them one bit. J has the most sparkly, effervescent personality which was so fun to work with! She was simply giddy to marry the love of her life. And, as you can tell by K’s tears at the first look, he was pretty thrilled as well!
They moved their wedding inside a gorgeous tent at The Steven’s Estate because of the rain; however it let up a bit later so we could take a few outdoor shots! Either way, J+K didn’t care much as long as their fur baby, Omar, got to join them for some photos.
J+K’s wedding was the result of years of love. High school sweethearts, they spent their college and young adult years as long distance friends. J moved back to the Boston area when her father became ill and passed away. During this time, J+K reconnected and started to fall in love once more. Because of their history, their wedding was very family focused. J’s cousins and family performed at the wedding and her mom and sister helped her get ready.
J+K were very intentional in including not only their family, but also memories (like the big yellow school bus!) to celebrate their long love! They even included mac and cheese (what they ate the first day they saw each other after highschool). We absolutely loved their attention to detail and celebrating their relationship!
