What would a very Boston wedding be without portraits that showcase the city? Having the ceremony at the Boston Public Library allowed our couple the opportunity to capture their couple-ness in one of the most beautiful architectural sites in town. Following that, we ventured with the wedding party to the Boston Public Garden, perhaps the most Boston of Boston portrait spots. Finally culminating with a few fun and fantastic photos at the Musuem of Science where they would host their wedding reception.
We utilized pretty much every space in the BPL for portraits from the Popular Reading Room, foyer and grand staircase…
to Bates Hall…
to the Chavannes Gallery…
to the Romeo and Juliet balcony…
to the courtyard…
and even out front.
The Public Gardens were all dressed up in their Sunday best, awash with colorful flowers.
Then for a darker look, the Museum of Science enticed us with their infamous dinosaur.
This image was later turned into a B-film movie poster, courtesy of the talented graphic design skills of Dave. He knew he wanted to make this the instant we set up the shot. You can check it out the final product on our facebook page here.
Now that the portraits are complete, it’s time for the party! So check back soon for more details of this very Boston wedding.
Best wedding photos I’ve ever seen; just what this wonderful couple should have.
