The Yankee Candle Company flagship store is like a playround for adults and kids alike. Of course, there are candles- every shape, size, color and scent of candles. But there is also an array of other gifts- from food to toys to christmas ornaments. They even have a fabulous romantic award-winning restaurant, Chandler’s. I am fascinated by this place. There are so many things to see and hear and smell and touch. Of course, whenever visitors come, we now bring them here.

Here’s a few from our most recent visit with my parents…

Gotta love the pickle ornaments!

If you look down in the moat (which you have to cross to get into the medieval area), you will see some stunning fish.

This area was so moody and dark. I love the gargoyles, the beer steins, the glass mugs with crests, and the swords. Of course, my dad and Dave were immediately drawn to the swords. I am a little amazed we were able to get them out of there.

In case you were wondering, when we visited there were 276 days, 12 hours, 37 minutes, and 19 seconds until Christmas.

A personal favorite, bride monkey and groom bear. We start them young, don’t we? Well at least the stuffed animals are cute.

Perhaps this will remind you of our trip to the Big Texan. It did me.
