Arches National Park boasts red sandstone natural bridges and arches; they are great in number, diversity and size. Basically they are amazing in every sense of the word. But the park is more than just the arches. It is also rock formations of variety and shape that boggle the mind. You could see the same formations from two different directions or at two different times of day and see something completely different. The park also has interesting wildlife. Our sitings were limited to lizards, birds, rabbits and deer; footprints in the sand suggested far more.
Here’s a little taste of our favorite images from today…
Hi Jo and Dave. I’m really jealous of your travels. The pictures from Arches bring back such happy memories since we honeymooned in Moab. Canyonlands is great too, and if you’re still down there, try the Hogi Yogi on the edge of town (more the Yogi than the Hogi).
