One of our favorite things about weddings is the mixing of two families. In F+W’s wedding, we witnessed a beautiful blend of Chinese and Catholic traditions. So much of their special day celebrated their heritage, starting with where W got ready. He prepared for his wedding in his childhood room, a room his parents left untouched. F+W also said, “I do” in the same church as W’s parents!
Before their Catholic Ceremony, they celebrated with a Chinese Tea Ceremony at The Hotel Marlowe. This traditional wedding ceremony involves thanking each set of parents by serving them tea. We love that F+W honored their parents and F’s heritage in this way!
Following the Tea Ceremony and Catholic Ceremony, F+W danced the night away at Hei La Moon, where they had a traditional Chinese banquet. Make sure to look through the photos for special touches F created! She works as a graphic designer and designed many of their decor pieces!
Thank you to all the vendors for making F+W’s day so special!
