M & W’s wedding was the epitome of love. Some would even say it was fate; she went to Wellesley College and he to MIT. The pair met through the MIT ballroom dance club and that has now become a key part of their relationship. Following a romantic ceremony at the Houghton Chapel the couple was ready to show their moves. So much so that M gave us an outfit change just for their ballroom style first dance.
Simple yet meaningful, M & W really wanted their wedding to be about their friends and family coming together to celebrate. This wedding was truly one for the books- have you ever heard of a bride and groom serving their guests wedding cake? Well you will after this, M & W cut and served every guest a piece of homemade cake, made by one of their close friends. For M & W, the day was about keeping things personal and they did exactly that.
The orange leaves and the stunning fall day made for a beautiful backdrop. With all of the pieces in place, capturing amazing moments was a blast. What makes these photos even more special is that after shooting this wedding M & W realized they had actually taken pictures next to a tree M’s 2012 graduating class had planted! Talk about fate!
