Liz and B.J. found each other via the water. Both competitive swimmers. And when water is such an integral part of your life, it also becomes an element of your relationship and ultimately your wedding. So it is perfectly fitting that they got ready for their day at the Intercontinental Hotel with views of the Boston Bay and selected the State Room’s Great Hall with views of city and the water for their reception. We ultimately chose to do their first look behind the hotel, along a dock leading to the water. Though friends and family were above looking on, it felt isolated. It felt calming. It felt right. The perfect start to the next chapter of their lives together.
