I am still so excited for Renee and Chris and their recent nuptials. Full disclosure: Renee is a good friend of ours. We have worked with her for many years and shared an office with her when she was a full time member of the SD Events team. And to say that she is fabulous, is an understatement. She is creative, compassionate, and one of the most hard-working people we know. Chris is her perfect match- he has a relaxed energy about him and an easy sense of humor. In many ways they are so different, but I couldn’t imagine either of them with anyone else. Their wedding was romantic, warm and just plain fun.
So many favorite moments from this day: their first look at the Hotel Nine Zero bar, the portraits that Dave created in the alley by the restaurant utilizing great light and steam from some vent (crazy beautiful, creative and something I think only Dave could see), when Renee pulled out her cell phone to read her vows after she had explicitly told Chris he couldn’t do that- too much laughter over that one, seeing the whole team of wedding professionals pulling together for one of their own, Renee & Chris’ first dance, the sweets table, and getting to dance with my sweetie to “It Had to Be You” (Thank you, John Zucco, for playing it for me.)
And now the fun part. The pix (part 1)….
Congrats to Renee and Chris and many thank yous to all the people who made their day so special:
