A couple of weeks ago, we participated in the Baystate Bridal Expo. At these types of events, not only do we get to connect with fabulous brides and grooms, we also get to meet some of our peers in the wedding industry. And I always make sure to stop by the cake vendors’ booths. Probably my favorite part of the show is getting to sample their offerings. The cakes by Konditor Meister and Ivy’s Fine Cakes were out of this world yummy. Dave was able to grab a couple of pix of the Konditor Meister cakes. I am so impressed with the artistry involved. Don’t they look out of this world?
If someone told me that they were going to have peacock feathers arranged on their wedding cake, I’d probably roll my eyes. But, once again, I’ve been proved wrong. Looks totally elegant!
I attended the expo with my fiend who is getting married. I was married two years ago Konditor Meister made our wedding cake. My fieance and I went in for a tasting appointment on a Saturday morning. The cake I wanted was a custom design, (a vision I had since I was a little girl). The bridal consultant that was assisting us, that day, went to speak with the owner of Konditor Meister, Rebecca Moesinger, regarding the design. The next thing we knew Rebecca, the Owner, was sitting down with my finace and me. Rebecca asked me to describe to her my dream wedding cake. As I spoke Rebecca began to draw on a piece of paper my exact vision. It was amazing, that she was able to create the wedding cake that I had dreamed of. When I first saw my wedding cake, I was in tears, Rebecca was able to take the vision I had and made MY cake. She is amazing to work with and for an owner of a very busy business to care enough to sit down with the her customers really says alot for her passion. Thank you again and again for making our wedding day even more special.
