A couple weeks ago we had the pleasure of photographing Krista and Andy’s wedding. Krista wanted a beautiful spot for the first time they saw each other. She selected Hakone Gardens, a gorgeous Japanese garden in Saratoga. They started the day surrounded by their closest friends, the impeccably manicured grounds and the stunning koi.
We chose a corner of the park that was secluded for them to catch their first glimpse of each other. Check out the look on Andy’s face as he is awaiting Krista’s arrival.
And Krista was simply stunning. This dress was perfect for her. I LOVED the sash. She and her seamstress actually designed that specifically for her.
Here’s another view of the sash and a better look at the flowers. So pretty!
Then we grabbed a few portraits of Krista and Andy. They were totally adorable snuggling up amidst the bamboo.
We also had a chance to take a few of the whole crew. Almost all of the people behind Krista and Andy are their brothers from Alpha Phi Omega, their service fraternity, and the others are actual siblings. How cool is that?
There are more images coming soon so definitely check back. In the meantime, if you want to see more of Krista and Andy, you can view their engagement session here.
Beautiful!
My fave is the one with all the fish! How cute!
Krista, you look absolutely gorgeous. LOVE the flowers and dress. I would have to agree that my fave is the one with the koi too! Best wishes to you and Andy.
