Sunset in the City- A San Jose Engagement

We had an absolutely amazing engagement shoot with Jon and Shosh. Downtown San Jose provided a new arena for us to work in and tons of inspiration. We decided to do a night city session. We wanted to capture the gorgeous early evening light and then the darkness that followed.

Jon and Shosh are full of spunk and clearly completely enamored with each other. They had great ideas so this turned out to be a perfect collaboration. Great city + great colors + great couple=fun!!!!

We didn’t suggest the fountain because they were wearing really nice clothes, but Jon did!!! I am so glad he did and I am so glad they did it.

Even though we had a truly fabulous time shooting, I think the best part of the evening was when we weren’t shooting. We took a break when the sun had set but it wasn’t quite dark enough for the night scenarios we had in mind. The drinks were great (thanks again for the tea, Jon) and the company was fabulous. I loved learning about their families and now I can’t wait to meet those we haven’t met yet. They sound wonderful.

And then the sun went down….
