Blending cultures and families in an intimate gathering. Sophie and Mehmet focused on the special traditions of each of their families- hers Chinese and his Turkish. The incorporated the Chinese Tea Ceremony complete with traditional clothing as well as Turkish music complete with lively dancing. They brought together their ideas of what a perfect ceremony and celebration would be and created many of the elements themselves, and the DIY element worked perfectly for them. Their goal was a beautiful day that spoke to who they were as a couple. They were spot on.
