Since you already had a chance to check out the cakes from the Baystate Bridal Expo, I thought I should share a bit about the wedding venues present at the event. A full range of wedding sites are available to today’s bride- from a classic mansion at Willowdale Estates to a beautiful museum such as the Peabody Essex Museum to modern hotels and even a wedding ceremony and reception aboard a yacht with Entertainment Cruises or a destination wedding in Barbados. The sky is the limit.

With amazing sites, often comes amazing food.

I have to admit I am a bit of a food snob. Spending 8 years in the San Francisco Bay Area will do that to a person. And the tidbits we tried from the catering staff at Mooo Restaurant, Teatro, Sorellina, Mistral, and L’Andana, all part of the Columbus Restaurant Group, were outstanding. Each restaurant has different options for your private event- whether it be an engagement party, a bridal shower, the rehearsal dinner, or your wedding reception. Or if that doesn’t end up working out, definitely check them out for an anniversary dinner, because they are simply yummy!

If you are looking for someplace with an amazing view, consider the MIT Faculty Club. This wedding space overlooks the Charles and has amazing views of Boston.

Or if you are looking to head out of town and don’t think your guests would be able to make it to Barbados or Jamaica, consider a site on the Cape such as Ocean Edge Resort and Club or The Hotel Northampton in Western Mass.

All of these fabulous vendors were at the show. We are so glad we had the chance to get to meet them.
