Juliet’s bat mitzvah is just around the corner and we had a fabulous Rock Star Portrait Session with her. We are all amped up. Juliet is a natural in front of the camera. She’s spent lots of time on stage as an actor and singer so the attention was nothing new. And she joyfully tried anything we asked of her.
We actually started in the temple where Juliet is celebrating her bat mitzvah. We took a few traditional portraits on the bimah. And a few family portraits.

Then we focused all our attention on Juliet. Dave saw this stage in the synagogue and immediately fell in love with the red curtains. I thought it was perfect for Juliet. I must admit I have a soft spot for her and her love of theater.

She is truly a star. Juliet has had leads in many shows, including playing Cosette in a local production of Les Miserables. How awesome is that!

We headed outside for some pix on the grounds. It is a beautiful site with lovely autumn trees and a great gothic-style building.

I am so excited to shoot Juliet’s bat mitzvah party at the Allston Doubletree. I know everyone is going to have tons of fun.
And Juliet- break a leg- you are going to knock ‘em dead with your Torah portion!
