Details: Kate and James’ San Francisco Wedding
One of our readers asked us to share a few of the details from Kate and James’ wedding. I thought that was a great idea and will try to do a "details" post when I can. So here’s the first of more real wedding details entries to come.

Kate got ready at the Four Seasons. Her colors were an antique gold with shades of white and silver. For her look, she brought together those elements with a bit of sparkle.

Her bouquet of white callas and orchids was accented by natural green tones.

To celebrate the city, Kate chose to name the reception tables after neighborhoods in San Francisco (note the cute cable car illustration). The table assignments were slipped inside Chinese coin purses which were also the favors. There was even a hershey kiss inside as a special surprise.

The room was decorated with a few trees lit by white holiday lights and the colorful lights brought by the DJ.

They incorporated many Jewish elements into their day. Their place settings not only have their names, but also the Hebrew words for their roles of bride (Kallah) and groom (Chatan).

The decorative charger plates brought Kate’s color scheme to the table. And the Four Seasons put together this elegant menu card for each guest.

Her centerpieces were tall vases with orchids and willow branches.

And of course, I have to share a few of the food. This salad was such a work of art.

And the cake was stunning. I love the gold ribbon arround each layer and the white on ivory decorations.

Kate really did an amazing job creating an elegant feel throughout the day.
