The Scoop: Kate and James’ Wedding
Kate and James started off their relationship in fairy tale style (check out their engagement session for the details) and they definitely continued that theme on their wedding day. Their love was evident throughout the day- they cuddled up to each other and held hands at every possible moment.

Every detail of the wedding was dreamy and beautiful.
Kate did an amazing job planning it. She incorporated many Jewish customs- from the ceremony traditions of the ketuba, the chuppah, stomping on the glass, and the Yichud (alone time) to the reception celebrations with the blessings before the meal to the horah to the mezinka dance. She also brought special San Francisco touches to the day- cable car details, neighborhood table names, and coin purses from Chinatown. As well as her own sense of elegance and class. Her choice of sites- Temple Emanu-El and The Four Seasons, her dress, her colors said it all.
Kate got ready in her suite at The Four Seasons. It was a great location to have her hair and make-up done; she was surrounded by luxury and her wonderful bridesmaids.

This also meant that she and James saw each other for the first time at the hotel. The San Francisco Four Seasons has a balcony with beautiful city views. It was private and picturesque.

But there are few places in San Francisco, that aren’t picturesque. Here’s an image of our fabulous couple with a view of the city, the bay, and Marin.

I can not get over how amazing Temple Emanu-El is. All of the decor is stunning. Check out these chandeliers and the backdrop to the bima. The lobby (below) is just as amazing as the rest. I LOVE the ceiling.

Kate and James went off for the Yichud.

We enjoyed a few minutes with Kate and James after the ceremony for photos on the grounds of Temple Emanu-El.

Before Kate and James were introduced at the reception, Dave captured this image of Kate. She glows, doesn’t she?

And here’s James dancing with his mom. This is definitely one of the nicest American wedding traditions. This time, we had a little extra light from the videographers- always fun to play with.

A huge thank you to the staff at Temple Emanu-El and The Four Seasons. Everything was flawless!
Kate and James, thank you for choosing us to be a part of your gorgeous day. We are so glad we could document it for you. Mazel tov!

Thanks, Critsey. Dave has some great shots of them from the front (aka the lit side) as well. This is one of the reasons we love shooting together- great images from two perspectives! :)
